Large Solar Panel 240mm long x 90mm wide. Contains 36 cells each 30mm x 10mm wired in series giving useful power output. Produces up to 20V open circuit, over 100 mA short circuit in direct (winter) sunlight. Should charge 12V lead acid batteries at over 60mA.
Panels can be connected in parallel to produce higher current.
Weatherproof assemblies. Cells are encapsulated on the rear of 3mm thick perspex panels. Fitted with flying leads and 2.5mm female connector.
Note that some cells have numerous air bubbles in the encapsulation. These have been tested alongside cells without bubbles, and performance is identical.
