Magenta's kit 790 is an Ultra-Violet EPROM Eraser which will meet the needs of any student or hobbyist who deals with EPROMs. It operates from 12V d.c. and was specifically designed for use in schools, where higher voltages are not permitted. The eraser can handle several EPROMs at once depending on the condition of the tube.
The Magenta UV EPROM Eraser is constructed within an all-plastic box and details are included for the drawer-type assembly, which carries the EPROM chips. The kit includes a 150mm UV tube, coil components and of course fully detailed circuit and assembly instructions. It also provides useful background information relating to EPROM operation.
