One of the most popular projects ever published in the magazine Everyday Practical Electronics, this Simple PIC Programmer was an instant success with constructors all over the world, and has now been updated by Magenta Electronics at an incredibly low price! | This programmer grew from our experience with our Simple PIC Programmer (kit 857). It became apparent that the same programming principles could be used to cover a wider range of devices in the Arizona Microchip PIC family, and that many of the limitations of the earlier version could be overcome at low cost to produce a versatile tool at a budget price. |

The highly acclaimed "PIC Tutorial" series was published in Everyday Practical Electronics magazine (March-May 98) Magenta Electronics is delighted to be able to supply a top quality kit to accompany this excellent educational series. | Magenta's fantastic new kit to accompany the acclaimed EPE Toolkit 3 is much improved over the basic EPE design. We added a printed component identification and layout details, and a green solder mask. The component layout has been altered in many small ways, but there is one major change - the 18 pin PIC programming socket has been turned round so that PIN 1 IS UPPERMOST! This is more logical and orthodox. All PICs are now fitted the same way round on the board. |

Another new Magenta PIC project. Our kit no. 863 drives any 4-phase unipolar motor - up to 24V and 1A | This low-cost microcontroller-based project will help to reduce the level of scale build-up around your home. |
