Keep pests away from newly sown areas, vegetable plots, recreational areas, etc. with this simple to build ultrasonic scarer. The sonic pulses are inaudible to humans but prove an effective deterrent against many domestic animals, which will be encouraged to move away.
This design uses a simple but highly effective oscillator to generate 100V pulses at two-second intervals. The resulting ultrasonic signals are harmless but many animals find them intolerable.
